I'm now have target to flux saving. Could you please tell me. If we adjust level of spray fluxer nozzle up then we can saving cost of flux Quantity usage? What Others must adjust? such as pressure , flux flow. Thank you All for advise.

Hi Carol, Pressure requirements have changed over the past few years. In the recent past, aqueous cleaning systems relied on high flow, low pressure flooding techniques. 20 30 PSI pumped through large orifice nozzles. With ever increasing boa

Great information guys..I am learning a lot. Reading all the info changing the nozzles, pressure and coatings are certainly narrowing the choices. A lot of coatings I have come accross seem to come from the Mould industry especially Teflons etc. I lo

Pick and place is not my area but I did have a customer a while ago with a similar problem. He did try different nozzles and air pressure. They use Nano protek on thier stencils. He wiped the nozzles with Nano Protek and the problem dissappeared. Onl

Last time I used Topaz X2 was 5 years ago. Correct me if I'm wrong. There are some reasons: -Head dirty so machine thought there was nozzle on head already. -Nozzle changer/ Nozzle position offset. -Something jammed and nozzle changer can not go all

I do not know of any standard recommended values for impact pressure in cleaning equipment. They act more as a guide when examining the various choices manufacturers have made for the spray flow, nozzle pressure, nozzle spray angle and other factors.

One more thing to think about - if placing BGA's using water sol., you must ensure they are clean and dry beneath the component post wash. A few ways to do this. Simplest is to use DI from low pressurized nozzle and hand wash them at different atta

Thanks for the response. I did think about boards being tossed about because of nozzle pressure and alignment but I suspect the root cause is handling (people not being careful when they put boards into and removing them from baskets). This is the re
